Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Right now the greatest war of all time is raging and rising to a climactic conclusion. This war is between two Kingdoms. The Kingdom of Darkness, run by the devil and his lies. And the Kingdom of God, run by God and His truth. Both Kingdoms are seeking total dominion and will not stop fighting until one gets it. The good news is, we read the end of the book and God effortlessly destroys the devil in the end. The Bible says the time will come when the Kingdoms of this world shall become the Kingdom of our God! Until then we have to fight and endure to the end, snatching souls from the fire as we go! The devil's strategy of warfare is to get us to not believe the whole truth and also not to live it. If he can do either of these two things we are rendered useless and ineffective in the war against the devil. At the same time, God is proving us to make sure we stay battle ready. You have been chosen to join the ranks of the Army of Heaven and to wage the good warfare taking the Kingdom by force.
Since Lucifer fell into sin he has waged war against God and His Word. He has been successful deceiving the masses, angels and humans. In this war he uses two basic lies in different ways, “Hath God said” and “Ye shall not surely die”. These two lies are the root of the devils strategy to deceive the people. Even now, people everywhere still think they will not die if they sin, even though God clearly says they will. The truth is, if we deviate from the truth of God’s Word we too will be deceived and destroyed. The good news is God is raising up an army, His Holy Remnant Church, that will contend for the faith and fight to get the truth out there. Remember, it is the truth of God’s Word that makes men free. And the true doctrine of Christ not only saves us, but it keeps us. So we must continue to contend for the true faith and cast down everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God!
What is always the greatest warning about in scripture when it comes to the last days? Deception! 1 Timothy 4:1-2 1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (We are in the great falling away.)
Jesus couples the last days with deception 3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (The first thing He mentions about the last days is deception.)
Watch out for Damnable Doctrine - It is everywhere 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (These are the same people that turn the grace of God into lasciviousness. They say grace will cover you in your willful sin. It doesn’t matter how you live because we are saved by grace. You can’t fall away no matter what you do. Or people that say you are righteous while you live unrighteously. This is all damnable doctrine. No, we must walk in the fear of the Lord and hate every wicked way! The Bible says walk in the light as He is in the light if we want to be saved. It’s Holiness or Hell!))
Satan’s Kingdom is run by two things: Lust and Pride 1 John 2:15-17 15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (Like I said, lust and pride is what the spirit of this world is all about. Satan wants to entice your flesh and draw you into sin. First, he has to convince you of the lie like he did Eve. This is where the false doctrine comes in. You will not surely die he says while they stumble to their slaughter! Furthermore, He wants you to believe there will be no consequence for your sin. Just like in the garden satan makes sin look like it will prosper you and give you success, painting a beautiful picture. But in the end it bites like a snake and destroys your souls eternally. He is the Father of Lies. He is the greatest deceiver.)
Satan is the prince of the kingdom of this world Ephesians 2:1-3 1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (Just like God satan is a spirit. He is the influencing spirit that leads people to do wickedness. He is the influencer of the way of this world. And the whole world lieth in wickedness. You have to know your enemy and know his tactics.)
2 Thessalonians 2:8-15 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. (The Devil is on a murderous rampage to kill, steal, and to destroy. He comes to blind the minds of people so that they cannot see the truth and so that when they finally hear the truth they reject it. He comes as a preacher with a different message than Jesus had.)
Cast Down your idols and surrender your life if you want to be enlisted into the Army of God! 2 Timothy 2:3-4 3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
God’s Bringing Forth His Armies out of Egypt Exodus 7:4 4But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. (Israel is an Army! Picture of the Armies of Israel is the picture of Heavenly Israel.)
Come out of Babylon/Come out of the world system and the false church Revelation 18:1-8 1And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. 7How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. (Babylon is described as a whore, someone involved in fornication. Babylon is all about the lust of this world. The church has gone whoring after babylon. Come out of the false church and world system and quit whoring around on God.)
The war started in the beginning and continues now. Revelation 12:1-17 1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Who is the Woman? New Jerusalem (The city of God). Who is the seed? Christ and all of His Seed. These are the ones who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus. The Dragon is the devil who is trying to devour the seed. Now there is a great war between these two Kingdoms.
The Day of the Lord is a military operation / The Lord Musters His Army Isaiah 13:1-13 1The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. 2Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. 3I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. 4The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. 5They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. 6Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: 8And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. 9Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. 11And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. 12I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. 13Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. (The banners are war banners. This is not a close fight! The Lord will level them with His Army)
The Lord comes with His Army Jude 1:14-16 14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
We are soldiers in the Kingdom of God! We must fight! Matthew 11:11-14 11Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 13For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 15He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. (John the Baptist was a warrior. He had to preach and take the Kingdom by force.
Define Kingdom (1828 Webster) - 1. The territory or country subject to a king; an undivided territory under the dominion of a king or monarch. 2. The inhabitants or population subject to a king. The whole kingdom was alarmed.
3. In Scripture, the government or universal dominion of God.
The Lord Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. All things have been given to Him by His Father. What this means is that He is the sovereign ruler of absolutely everything, even as He is submitted to His God and Father. The bible says He is Lord over Heaven, earth, and those under the earth.
God is King over His Kingdom 1 Corinthians 29:10-13 10Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. 11Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 12Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 13Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
The Lord is ruler over the Kingdom Psalms 145:8-21 8The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.10All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. 11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; 12To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. 13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. 14The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.15The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. 16Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. 17The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. 18The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. 19He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. 20The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. 21My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
From Kingdom of Darkness to the Kingdom of Light Acts 26:18 18To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
He translated us out of the Kingdom of Darkness Colossians 1:13-14 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Do not go in the way of the World Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (The Word of God renews your mind. Fall in love with the Word of God and draw near to God. God will give you great understanding.)
Whatever you sow is what you will reap Jeremiah 2:19 19Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
You must endure through this evil time in order to escape the judgment Revelation 3:10-13 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Be Watching and waiting that ye might escape Luke 21:25-36 25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. 29And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
A picture of the New Jerusalem Revelation 21:10-14 10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
